The sequel to Universal's hit horror flick THE PURGE, with returning writer/director James DeMonaco, will hit theaters June 20, 2014. The team that produced THE PURGE -- Jason Blum (Blumhouse) and Universal with Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes and Sebastien Lemercier -- will also be returning for the sequel.

THE PURGE (2013) starred Ethan Hawke and Lena Headey as a husband and wife engulfed in the madness of a Lawless night -- the one night of the year in a future America when the government has sanctioned an annual 12-hour period in which any and all criminal activity, including murder, is legal. The movie was a box office hit, taking in $34 million in its opening weekend.

Williams' upcoming projects include RoboCop, Kill the Messenger, The Sweet Blood of Jesus, Captive, Anesthesia and 179th Street. His television credits include Boardwalk Empire, Walk This Way, Community, CSI, Law & Order, The Philanthropist, The Wire, The Kill Point, Alias and more.

Ejogo has appeared on TV in Zero Hour, Chaos, Kidnapped and more. Her big screen credits include Alex Cross, Sparkle, Away We Go and more.

Gilford will next appear in the movie Devil's Due. Recent film credits include Crazy Kind of Love and The Last Stand. He starred as Matt Saracen on Friday Night Lights, with TV appearances in Off the Map, The Mob Doctor and more.

Sanchez has appeared on the big screen in Redemption Road and A Perfect Getaway. Her TV credits include The Glades, Samantha Who?, Lost, Related, Married to the Kellys and more.

Grillo's other upcoming projects include Big Sky, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Demonic and A Conspiracy on Jekyll Island. His past credits include Homefront, Collision, Gangster Squad, Zero Dark Thirty, Warrior and more, as well as the TV series The Gates, The Kill Point, Prison Break, Blind Justice, The Shield and more.
