Now that Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel have confirmed that they will appear in the upcoming BOY MEETS WORLD sequel, co-star Rider Strong, who portrayed Cory's best bud Shawn Hunter, has hinted that he may visit the proposed series as well.

TVguide.com reports that while Strong stated on his website, "At this point, I have no official involvement in Girl Meets World," he added, "There might be a chance to see some of the BMW cast in a guest spot, and I think it would be nice to find out where our characters have been all these years."

The actor shared that he is willing to be involved in the latest series if he were to be invited back, commenting, "Boy Meets World was a defining aspect of my life, and I cherish those seven years. It was never just a job — on a personal level, many of my best memories and friendships were formed because of it."

Yet Strong maintains that the new series should focus more on the newer cast of characters rather than dwell on the original crew. "Girl Meets World will be, and I think it should be, its own show. It will be about Cory and Topanga, their daughter, and a new set of characters." he adds, "It's the next generation. And I, for one, can't wait to see it evolve."
