Will Ferrell Brings Back ANCHORMAN Character Ron Burgundy For New Podcast

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Funny or Die is set to produce a new podcast that will feature Will Ferrell in one of his most notable roles as Ron Burgundy from ANCHORMAN. The show is set to premiere on the iHeartRadio Podcast Network in 2019. The show is ordered for 2 seasons, 12 episodes. Read more about the news from The Hollywood Reporter here!

In a statement from iHeartPodcast president Conal Byrne, the network shares "To be honest, we don't want to do this podcast and we just want to get this announcement over with as soon as possible. Ron quite literally forced us into making this podcast with him, first calling us more than one hundred times in a single day and then proceeding to actually show up at our doorstep and physically force himself into our studios. We do hope the podcast is well-received, but in the meantime, we hope by agreeing to do the announcement he will stay away."

Will Ferrell is known for his work in ELF, DADDY'S HOME, TALLADEGA NIGHTS, BLADES OF GLORY, and his acclaimed run as a cast member on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE.
