Whoopi Goldberg to Lend Voice to ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME IN WONDERLAND

TVLine reports that Whoopi Goldberg has joined ABC's Once Upon A Time In Wonderland as the White Rabbit's wife. She will voice the character in the the eighth episode of the show's debut season.

John Lithgow voices Goldberg's character's husband -- the neurotic White Rabbit. Other members of the series' voice cast include Iggy Pop (Caterpillar) and Keith David (Cheshire Cat).

Goldberg has also done voice work for Disney's The Lion King as Shenzi, as the octopus Stretch in Toy Story 3 and as Gaia in Captain Planet and the Planeteers.

Goldberg's upcoming film projects include Black Dog, Red Dog and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. She is a current host for the morning show The View and has recently appeared on TV in GLEE.

Goldberg has starred onstage in Sister Act in the West End -- which she also produced in London, on Broadway and on tour -- and on Broadway in Xanadu, Children And Art, Whoopi, Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, Funny Girl, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and Whoopi Goldberg. Goldberg also produced the 2003 US tour of Thoroughly Modern Millie.
