Watch New Footage From LONDON HAS FALLEN Premiere ft 'Jackass' Star Steve-O

Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart, and Angela Bassett could be seen this week on the red, white and blue carpet to celebrate the premiere of LONDON HAS FALLEN - the sequel to 2013's hit "Olympus Has Fallen." But who were those MAD MEN who helicoptered into the red carpet event? And what was Steve-O from Jackass doing at the premiere?

It was all part of a campaign, created by Gramercy Pictures and its social media influencer agency PopShorts, who imagined this red carpet moment to generate buzz and awareness for the movie, opening nationwide in theaters on Friday, March 4th.

Butler, Eckhart (as the President of the United States), Bassett, and Freeman (as the Vice President of the United States) are all back in this heart-pounding sequel, and PopShorts enlisted social influencers in an imaginary-yet-epic paintball battle to save the President of the United States, calling on social stars Steve-O, Chris Pontius, and Dave England (all of "Jackass" fame), Instagrammer Jerry Purpdrank, and Facebooker Elton Castee to make up its "Social Influencer Hostage Rescue Team."
After successfully securing the President, they helicoptered off to the premiere of "London Has Fallen" to meet up with Gerard Butler on the red carpet. The influencers posted content of their Presidential salvage, and their red carpet experiences to their designated social channels.

Steve-O just posted the full video from the rescue mission to his 10+ MM fanbase, complete with high-quality action shots, explosions, helicopter shots flying by the Hollywood sign, and premiere footage.
