WGN America to Air COPS and THE SIXTH SENSE for Halloween

Is there anything scarier than hardened criminals lurking in the shadows, or dead people that only a nine-year-old boy can see? This Halloween season, WGN america presents an especially hair-raising event to the fear-loving aficionado in all of us.

It's a crook-tacular Mischief Night when the most unnerving criminals from the fan-favorite reality crime show "Cops" are back on WGN America. Created by John Langley and Malcolm Barbour, the multi-decade series was among the earliest reality-based law enforcement shows, and it remains one of the most popular of the genre, nominated for four Emmy Awards and, recently, a Critics Choice TV Award for Best Unstructured Reality Show. The "Cops" marathon will air the night of Tuesday, October 30 from 7/6c until 12/11c.

On Halloween night, The Sixth Sense makes a creepy, festive return with ghosts and more. After playing Forrest Gump's son and before he was a robot child yearning for humanity in Steven Spielberg's A.I., Haley Joel Osment embodied a pre-teen with special - and terrifying - abilities in this 1999 supernatural horror film. Directed and written by M. Night Shyamalan, and starring Bruce Willis, the film was nominated for six Academy Awards and, until recently, was the highest-grossing horror film of all time. The Sixth Sense will air on the night of Wednesday, October 31 at 7/6c, with an encore at 9:30/8:30c.
