Vincent J. Sollecito Named President, ABC National Television Sales

Vincent J. Sollecito has been named president, ABC National Television Sales, for the ABC Owned Television Stations Group, it was announced today by Rebecca Campbell, president of the ABC Owned Television Stations Group and ABC Daytime, to whom he will report. He succeeds Debra O'Connell, who was named executive vice president, sales and marketing, in Disney | ABC's recently announced portfolio-wide advertising sales team.

In his new role, Sollecito, an 18-year veteran of the ABC Owned Station Group, will be responsible for managing and directing the sales and marketing arm of all ABC Owned Stations ad revenue offerings including television, digital and digital sales performance/advertising operations, regional sports and entertainment sales/out-of-home ad sales, and the Live Well Network, as well as sales promotion, marketing and creative services, sales research, data and insights and systems engineering. He will lead a team of sales executives covering disciplines across nine regional sales offices in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Dallas, Atlanta, Detroit and Boston.

Additionally, Sollecito will lead the overall sales strategy for the Owned Stations division as it continues to develop and shape future revenue opportunities.

Since 2008, Sollecito has served as vice president and general sales manager of the Group's Chicago station, WLS. During this time, he has also served as co-director of Sales for ABC's Live Well Network. Prior to that, from 2006-2008, he served as senior vice president, ABC National Television Sales where he managed the team's Los Angeles, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, St. Louis and San Francisco ad sales offices. Sollecito joined the Group in 1999 as an account executive at WABC-TV, and was promoted to the position of vice president and national sales manager at the station in 2002.

Early in his career, he held account executive positions at WHTZ-FM/Z100 and at Katz Television. Mr. Sollecito graduated from St. John University with a Bachelor of Science in business and marketing communications.
