'FIFTY SHADES' has found its Jose.

According to Deadline, Victor Rasuk has signed on to take on the role of Christian Grey's rival, an "aspiring photographer and classmate of Anastasia, whose close friendship with the young girl - he'd like it to be more - pits him as rival for her affections with Grey, the wealthy businessman whose warped past leaves him with a need to dominate his partners and unable to accept Anastasia on equal terms."

THR also recently confirmed that Mark Bomback, who recently penned THE WOLVERINE starring Hugh Jackman, has agreed to polish the script, originally written by Kelly Marcel. Oscar-nominated Patrick Marber was previously brought on for a once-over.

Production on the FIFTY SHADES film has also been pushed back to December 2nd. The month-long postponent may now affect the planned released date of the film of August 1, 2014.

A parital cause in the delay may very well have been the re-casting of the lead role of Christian Grey. The film's original star Charlie Hunnam dropped out for personal reasons. Sons of Anarchy star Jamie Dornan will now take his place opposite Dakota Johnson, set to play Anastasia Steele. Last week it was announced that True Blood star Luke Grimes will portray Elliot Grey, the brother of Christian.

Sam Taylor-Johnson will helm the film, based upon EL James' racy best-selling novel.

Rasuk's breakout role came in 2005's LORDS OF DOGTOWN. Since then, he's appeared in Steven Soderbergh's miniseries CHE, JOBS, and can next be seen opposite Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Olsen in the upcoming GODZILLA remake.
