Turner Classic Movies just posted its annual remembrance of film industry contributors who passed away in 2014, including stage vets Mike Nichols, Lauren Bacall and more. Watch and pay your respects in the video...

Acclaimed director, producer, writer, and performer Mike Nichols passed away on November 19, 2014, at the age of 83. He was among the most celebrated people in the history of show business, one of only a handful of people to win an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award.

Film and stage legend and two-time Tony Award winner Lauren Bacall passed away this year at the age of 89. Her career as a leading lady took off when she starred in the Humphrey Bogart film To Have and Have Not (1944). The actress continued on in the film noir genre and also appeared on Broadway in Goodbye, Charlie (1959), Cactus Flower (1965), Applause (1970) and Woman of the Year (1981). She won Tony Awards for her performances in the latter two.

Video by producer Andrew Alonso, edited by Scott Lansing, and filmed at the Swan House at the Atlanta History Center. Featuring "All I Want" by Kodaline.
