After Shawn Mendes tells James Corden he hasn't been set up on any dates, Mandy Patinkin offers Shawn some advice before he recalls how he and his wife got together over 40 years ago and why flower choice early on is important.

Also, James asks Shawn Mendes about influences on his new album and offers up some alternative titles to "Shawn Mendes." Mandy Patinkin informs everyone that Shawn actually writes his lyrics in Yiddish and shares a little taste of what "Stitches" originally sounded like.
