Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, MVP of Super Bowl XLVII, talks about his contract status, teammate Ray Lewis and what went through his mind during Sunday's power outage at the Superdome when he visited the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, last night, Monday, Feb. 4 on the CBS Television Network.

This is the ninth consecutive year that a Super Bowl-winning quarterback has appeared on the LATE SHOW after winning the championship. Check out the appearance below!

Flacco, who walked out to a standing ovation from the audience as Paul Shaffer and the CBS Orchestra played "We Are the Champions," talked about his contract negotiations with the Ravens. Said the host, "I read something today about you, and this is a contract negotiation year, and before the game, what did your owner say to you about the game and the hopeful outcome."

"Well, you know, actually, I only talked to him a little bit before this game," replied Flacco, "but before the New England game, you know, he just came up to me and said, 'Listen, this is our time, and go get 'em. We have all the faith in you, and this is going to be your team for a long time.'"
