ET recently spoke to GLEE, AMERICAN HORROR STORY and SCREAM QUEENS creator Ryan Murphy about Lady Gaga's AHS casting, what twists to expect from his new FOX series, and John Travolta on AMERICAN CRIME STORY. watch!

On Lady Gaga's AHS debut on FX, Murphy told ET: "I think she's been looking for some outlet to really dig in there and create a character. I guarantee the role will shock people."

Gaga's appearance the series will mark her first major acting job for TV. She recently had a cameo in SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR. AMERICAN HORROR STORY was created by Murphy and Brad Falchuk and is produced by 20th Century FOX Television.

SCREAM QUEENS, the upcoming comedy-horror series from Murphy, Falchuk and Ian Brennan, comes to FOX this fall, starring Emma Roberts. The show is a new genre-bending comedy-horror anthology series which revolves around a college campus which is rocked by a series of murders.

Travolta's role on FX's AMERICAN CRIME STORY: THE PEOPLE V. O.J. SIMPSON will be his first starring role since WELCOME BACK, KOTTER. The two-time Academy Award nominated and Golden Globe Award winning actor will portray Shapiro, a key member of O.J. Simpson's "Dream Team" during the sensational murder trial. He will also serve as a producer of the 10-part miniseries. Cuba Gooding Jr. stars as O.J. Simpson. Murphy will direct the first episode. AMERICAN CRIME STORY is written by Golden Globe-winning producers Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski (Big Eyes, The People v. Larry Flynt).
