Anna Faris and Emmy Award winner Allison Janney star in this pulls-no-punches comedy from Executive Producer Chuck Lorre (THE BIG BANG THEORY, TWO AND A HALF MEN, MIKE & MOLLY). Christy is a single mom and Napa Valley waitress valiantly trying to overcome a lifetime of questionable choices.  Now a year clean and sober, she's tested daily by her newly sober mom, Bonnie.  

Complicating things further is Christy's stubborn teenage daughter, Violet, who just gave up her baby for adoption; her overly-honest son, Roscoe; her slacker ex-husband, Baxter; Violet's clueless boyfriend, Luke; Christy's married boss and former fling, Gabriel; the restaurant's lascivious chef, Rudy; her sober friend, Marjorie; and her long-estranged father, Alvin. Christy tries to remain positive as she pursues a better life, but with her dysfunctional family and dubious support system, it's always an uphill battle.
