The duo performed the duet live for the first time at May's Billboard Music Awards in L.A., followed by performances in Nashville in June, at the CMT Music Awards and the CMA Music Fest.
Lambert recently told Rolling Stone Country that she always hoped to sing with Underwood. "I thought, 'It'd be great if her and I can ever collaborate,'" she said after witnessing Underwood perform "How Great Thou Art" at a TV taping in Las Vegas. "'Somethin' Bad' came across and it just felt like the rock and roll edge that she and I have in some of our songs put it all into perspective.... I sent it to her and she said yes. It was that easy."
