Officers Jeff Campbell, Syler Thompson, Kenny Tran and Detective Brian Harer of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority SWAT Team discussed the moments leading up to the arrest of Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in an interview that was broadcast today, April 23, 2013, on CBS THIS MORNING (7:00-9:00AM) on the CBS Television Network.

"We waited to a point where, as we were getting closer to him and both hands came up, we saw that both hands were open, we bolted out in front of the shield at that point," Officer Jeff Campbell told CBS THIS MORNING Senior Correspondent John Miller. "That was the one chance we had, and we wanted to end this for everybody." Watch the appearance in full below!

Excerpts of the interview are below.

MILLER: And what's the first thing you hear when that bell rings?

CAMPBELL: What we heard over the radio was an officer calling out, "shots fired," over the radio. And that's when we just grabbed our gear again and ran back outside-- got in the truck and started heading in that direction.

MILLER: In your mind, what did you think you were going into?

CAMPBELL: We knew we were going into what I believe was the culmination of this whole week.
