James Gray's upcoming film The Immigrant has just released an international trailer, starring Marion Cotillard, Joaquin Phoenix and Jeremy Renner. Check it out below!
The Immigrant is set in 1921 and follows two Polish immigrants - Ewa Cybulski (Cotillard) and her sister Magda - who are separated when they reach Ellis Island. Ewa searches for help and believes she finds it in Bruno, who charms her but ends up using her and forces her into prostitution. Ewa eventually meets Bruno's cousin Orlando, who becomes her only chance to escape.
The Immigrant will debut in Belgium and France on November 27 and is set for a North American release in 2014.
