Weinstein Company Co-Chairman Harvey Weinstein said Warner Bros.' decision not to allow him to use the title "The Butler" for his upcoming movie is unjust, and he vows to continue fighting, in an interview that was broadcast today, July 9, 2013 on CBS This Morning (7:00-9:00 AM) on the CBS Television Network. Weinstein appeared alongside his attorney, David Boies, former Senator Chris Dodd, who is Chairman and CEO of the Motion Picture Association of America, and Floyd Abrams, a First Amendment attorney.

"This was the big guy thinking he could hit the small guy. They didn't know that the small guy knows David Boies pretty well, and that David Boies takes the small guy's side," Weinstein told co-hosts Gayle King, Norah O'Donnell and Anthony Mason.

Weinstein asserted that Warner Brothers was attempting to block the movie as a "bullying tactic" to get him to give up rights to "The Hobbit" franchise.

"They need to sit down and resolve this," Dodd said, after explaining the MPAA rules on registered film titles. "There's an appeals process, go through that. There's no reason why this needs to become as large an issue as it is."
