The first official trailer for Martin Scorsese's religious drama SILENCE debuted online last night. Starring Andrew Garfield, Adam Driver and Liam Neeson, the film hits theaters on December 23. Get a first look below!
Based on a novel by Japanese author Shusaku Endo, "Silence" centers on two Portuguese Jesuit priests, portrayed by Driver and Garfield, who must contend with various forms of persecution, including torture, while traveling through Japan to proselytize locals and track down their mentor, played by Neeson.
