As first announced on ETonline.com, actor Tom Cruise will join the list of presenters at the 84th Annual Academy Awards. Brian Grazer and Don Mischer, producers of the show, made the announcement today.
The three-time Academy Award-nominated actor is currently starring in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, which is the highest grossing film in the franchise's history. He will next appear in the big screen adaptation of the Broadway musical 'Rock of Ages' set for June.
Cruise joins previously announced presenters Tom Hanks, Jennifer Lopez and the cast of the hit comedy Bridesmaids, who will be the evening's first presenters.
Billy Crystal will host the 84th Academy Awards show on Sunday, February 26, live from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. The ceremony will be broadcast live on NBC.
