The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Kicks Off Monday Night Premiere Block on Showtime

To kick off the return of its hit original series WEEDS (10 PM) and THE BIG C (10:30 PM), SHOWTIME will premiere the mega-hit ECLIPSE, the third installment of the Twilight Saga, on Monday, June 27th at 8 PM ET/PT. The teen vampire phenomenon stars Kristen Stewart as "Bella Swan," a teenager who finds herself surrounded by danger and targeted by the vengeful vampire "Victoria" (Bryce Dallas Howard). In the meantime, she must choose between her love for vampire "Edward Cullen" (Robert Pattinson) and her friendship with werewolf "Jacob Black" (Taylor Lautner). The film is directed by David Slade and based on the wildly best-selling novel by Stephenie Meyer.

Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker) and Cathy Jamison (Laura Linney) are back on SHOWTIME with the debut of the new seasons of WEEDS and THE BIG C. On WEEDS, Nancy has spent three long years in Federal prison for murder. Now she's out and back on the scene -- harder and bolder than ever, which is a necessity now that she and the Botwins have relocated to New York City. While on THE BIG C, Cathy has become an all-out warrior in her Stage 4 melanoma fight and gets a new oncologist (special guest appearance by Alan Alda) and a new friend (guest star Hugh Dancy).
