Telemundo's SENORA ACERO Season 2 Finale Tops Key Demos

Last night's second season finale of TELEMUNDO's highly-rated Super Series "Señora Acero" ranked as the #1 broadcast program, regardless of language, at 10pm among adults 18-49 and 18-34. Starring Blanca Soto, the Super Series delivered 2,650,000 total viewers, 1,500,000 adults 18-49 and 733,000 adults 18-34, according to Nielsen. During its second season run, Telemundo averaged 1,129,000 adults 18-49 and 565,000 adults 18-34 ranking as the #1 Spanish broadcast network in the Monday-Friday 10pm hour with "Señora Acero" outperforming Univision among these key demos."Señora Acero" illustrates the innovative concept of the Telemundo SUPER SERIES - faster paced, action-packed and shorter scripted drama series designed to return for multiple seasons, placing Telemundo at the forefront of Spanish-language television in the United States.

Locally, the "Señora Acero" finale ranked as the #1 program in its time slot, regardless of language, among adults 18-49 in Houston and Phoenix while ranking #1 among total viewers and adults 18-49 in Miami. It was also the #1 Spanish-language program, in its time slot, among total viewers in Dallas, Tampa and Phoenix, and among total viewers and adults 18-49 in Washington, DC and Boston.

On the digital front, the "finale was the #1 show on Facebook among all networks and dayparts with 1,100,000 engagements. The Super Series also reached over 22,000,000 global Facebook users during finale night (+162% vs. season one), and also generated a total of 690,000 actions across Facebook and Twitter (+172% vs. season one).

Produced for Telemundo Studios by Argos Televisión, "Señora Acero" was written by Roberto Stopello ("La Reina del Sur") and directed by Miguel Varoni ("Señora Acero" season one) and Carlos Villegas ("El Señor de los Cielos").
