Variety reports that TRANSPARENT star Jeffrey Tambor will release a memoir on his prolific career in the entertainment industry next Spring. The book, titled "Are You Anybody?" will be published by Crown Archetype, an imprint of Penguin Random House's Crown Publishing Group.

In the collection of autobiographical essays Tambor will reflect on his many comedic television roles in such shows as HBO's "The Larry Sanders Show," Fox's "Arrested Development" and Amazon's "Transparent."

Commented Tambor, "Books and theater saved me. I am thrilled to be publishing my first book with Crown. I look forward to sharing the stories and lessons from my life that have shaped the characters I've played, and how those characters have helped shape me. Some stories will be awkward, others inspiring, some dark, most funny, and all will, I think, be hopeful and instructive."

Added Crown Archetype VP and Editorial Director Tricia Boczkowski, "Jeffrey is one of the most gifted storytellers of our time. The stories he's told through Hank Kingsley, George Bluth, and Maura Pfefferman are a testament to his gift for empathy, vulnerability, and observation. Now he turns a gimlet eye on his own life in a book that reads like an intimate conversation over dinner with a beloved friend and teacher."

Tambor received an Emmy Award and Golden Globe for his role as Maura Pfefferman in TRANSPARENT.
