TODAY's 'Together We Make Football' Features Dallas High School Kicker Luis Chaparro

Today's "Together We Make Football" segment on TODAY, narrated by NBC Sports Group's Josh Elliott, tells the story of North Dallas High School bulldog Luis Chaparro. Elliott will report the segment live for TODAY from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

This week's "Together We Make Football" segment profiles Luis Chaparro, an all-district kicker and punter for his North Dallas HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL team. When Luis was a sophomore, his brother Daniel began teaching him the mechanics of the position. Two years later, Luis was named captain of the North Dallas HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL team and his coaches believe he has the potential to play for a Division I college program. In addition, Luis' talents extends off the field, ranking tenth in his class in academics.

Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints travel to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, to take on Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday, Sept. 28, on NBC's Sunday Night Football. Coverage begins with FOOTBALL NIGHT IN AMERICA at 7 p.m. ET on NBC.

At the end of the season, NFL FILMS will produce a "Together We Make Football" special which will air on NBC on SUPER BOWL Sunday, February 1, 2015.
