The Game of musical, or should we say 'Viewsical' chairs continues with new reports today that The View's Elisabeth Hasselbeck may soon exit the show for a spot on the CNN line-up. According to an article in today's New York Post, CNN boss Jeff Zucker is "definitely interested" in having the right-leaning host join his team.

TVNewser is also reporting that the network has been wooing Hasselbeck in an attempt to have her "possibly joining the channel in some form." The story notes, "Another option on the table, according to a source close to the host, is to have her "gracefully exit" the daytime program by having her stay with the show, but cut back on the number of days she appears, while allowing her to pursue work elsewhere."

View creator Barbara Walters recently denied all rumors of Hasselbeck's departure, insisting the show had "no plans" for her to leave. Long-time co-host Joy Behar has announced that she will move on when her contract expires this summer.
