THE KILLER'S GAME In Talks To Cast Jason Statham, D.J. Caruso Directs

According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Jason Statham is currently in talks to star in the new action film THE KILLER'S GAME, directed by D.J. Caruso. The film is based on the Jay Bonansinga novel of the same name, released in 1997. The story follows an assassin with a terminal illness who puts a hit out on himself to stop to pain. To his dismay, he was misdiagnosed and now much combat the advances of those trying to kill him. Read more from The Hollywood Reporter here!

Caruso is a director, writer and producer. Some of his recent directing credits include I AM NUMBER FOUR, STANDING UP, EAGLE EYE and DISTURBIA.

Jason Statham is an international actor known for his hard-hitting action films. He started his career in Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, personally cast by Guy Ritchie who he worked with again in Snatch alongside Brad Pitt. Luc Besson trusted him in the title role of Frank Martin in THE TRANSPORTER and Statham kept moviegoers' hearts racing in the adrenaline pumping films Crank and Crank 2: High Voltage. Statham received rave reviews in the Paul Feig action comedy SPY and was part of Universal's blockbuster hit Fast and the Furious 7. His other film credits include the Rodger Donaldson film The Bank Job, Sylvester Stallone's Expendables 1, 2 &3, Homefront, Safe, Parker, and The Italian Job.
