Susan Boyle on Instant Fame: 'Whatever Comes My Way, I Am Ready'

Britain's Got Talent singing sensation Susan Boyle is ready for the future, Boyle gave an exclusive interview to the show where she revealed that, "Whatever comes my way, I am ready. It would be lovely to sing for the Queen. There would be less of the carry on from me, and more of the singing". 

"She is a very regal lady, very nice, so I would be nice too, and just get up there and give it a bit of wellie", remarked the inspirational Boyle.

And the internet sensation isn't worried that the world of "showbiz" might drive her batty like so many other reality stars before her. She laughed and commented to the interviewer, "It's a challenge. Life is a challenge sometimes but this is different. And I like to test myself". The unassuming 47 year old Susan Boyle wowed the judges with her performance in the auditions for the latest season of Britains Got Talent, singing "I Dreamed A Dream" from Les Miserables.

Her stunning performance even touched 'Les Miz' impresario Cameron Mackintosh. The musical theatre legend remarked in a statement that, "Just like the judges and audience I was gob-smacked by the emotional powerhouse performance of Susan Boyle's show stopping rendition of 'I Dreamed a Dream.' Vocally it is one of the best versions of the song I've ever heard. Touching, thrilling and uplifting".

Boyle, an unemployed woman who's "nearly 48," talked about her cat, and joked around with the judges, noting that she had "never been kissed." She revealed her dreams of being a singer and compared herself to beloved British musical theater star Elaine Paige.

The entire audience prepared for the worst as she began her song, but, once she starting singing the crowd and judges were transported by her emotional and theatrical take on the number!

The Britains Got Talent's first season was won by a cell phone salesman who sang opera songs, Paul Potts. Potts was also physically unassuming at first blush on the show.
