Starz Original Series MAGIC CITY Honored With Golden Globe Nomination

The STARZ Original series, MAGIC CITY, was honored this morning at the 70th annuAl Golden Globes (R) nomination ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Danny Huston was nominated for Best Performance for an Actor in a Supporting Role for his chilling portrayal of mobster Ben "The Butcher" Diamond.

This marks veteran actor Huston's first nomination from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. This is also the first nomination for the freshman series, "Magic City," which is currently filming its second season in Miami.

"Magic City" was created by writer and executive producer Mitch Glazer (The Recruit, Scrooged). Geyer Kosinski (Changeling, The Astronaut Farmer) also executive produces the series along with co-executive producer Ed Bianchi ("Deadwood") and Emmy Award(R) winning producer Dwayne Shattuck ("Mad Men").
