Downton Abbey's Sophie McShera is in talks to join The Borgias' Holliday Grainger as Cinderella's wicked stepsister in Disney and Kenneth Branagh's live-action adaptation of CINDERELLA.

Lily James (Downton Abbey) stars as Cinderella with Richard Madden (HBO's Game of Thrones) as her prince charming and Cate Blanchett as her iconic evil stepmother.
CINDERELLA is expected to begin filming by the end of the year.Sophie McShera appeared in Jerusalem in the West End in 2011. Her other television credits include The Job Lot, Waterloo Road, Emmerdale and more. She will next appear in the film Highway to Dhampus.
