At yesterday's CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Sony Pictures revealed that the upcoming Spider-Man movie will be officially titled SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING.

Tom Holland, who will star as the spandex-clad superhero, made the official announcement at the event, sharing "I'm Tom Holland and I'm your new Spider-Man. He teased that the new film will find Spidey and his alter ego Peter Parker searching for his identity. Joked Sony Pictures chief Tom Rothman, "I hope it takes about three movies."

"Homecoming" will follow "Parker's struggles to balance his high school life with his vigilantism" with the conflict described as "saving the world and getting your algebra homework done at the same time."

The film marks the teaming of Sony and Disney's Marvel Studios, with superhero veteran Kevin Feige serving as a producer. Holland's Spider-Man will also be featured in future Avengers movies.
