The Voice is set to bring back all six of its judges - just not at the same time.

EW has confirmed that, amid constant speculation, NBC is implementing a 'rotation' of judges on its hit singing competition. Under the plan, original judges Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green will return alongside Adam Levine and Blake Shelton for season 5 in the fall - while Usher and Shakira will take season 6 in the spring of 2014.

Insiders have confirmed that all six judges are close to finalizing deals for the rotation, intended to keep things "fresh." Deadline has also confirmed the news, with a source stating that NBC execs are expected to make the official announcement within the coming days.

The news comes just a day after Shakira's half-truth confirmation to E! News that she would officially be leaving the show in the fall.

"It was a hard decision for me to make," she said yesterday. "...I'm really fond of the coaches, the people in production and everybody around me. And I really enjoyed THE VOICE, but I also have a musical career and I'm also a mother now and my poor baby's so tired flying such long distances. He already has more miles than any pilot. So I think I have to give him a little break, and we'll see what happens in the future."

Fans have sounded off, proving that replacement judges Shakira and Usher were welcome additions, and created a fresh rapport on the show, which hit an all-new ratings high in April.

Now that THE VOICE's rumor mill seems to be settling down, what do you guys think of the network's plan of rotating judges each cycle?
