According to TVLine.com, actor Sendhil Ramamurthy will be guest starring on the NBC comedy THE OFFICE in the role of a new love interest for Mindy Kaling's alter-ego Kelly Kapoor.

The actor is best known for his role on the NBC drama 'Heros'. While Kapoor's relationship with co-worker Ryan is on the brinks on the show, Ramamurthy will soon appear to woo her and sweep her off her feet.

In an interview with TV Guide Magazine, B.J. Novak, who portrays Ryan on the comedy, revealed “[Ryan and Kelly] go through a heart-wrenching break-up. [They] end up becoming bitter enemies in the office when she falls in love with an Indian doctor. He’s very handsome and a much, much better match for Kelly than Ryan is.”

Ramamurthy currently stars on USA network's 'Covert Affairs'. According to the report, the actor will only appear in one episode of THE OFFICE.
