Sen. Elizabeth Warren to Make 'LATE SHOW' Debut Next Week

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) will make her first visit to the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, Wednesday, Sept. 3 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

A former attorney and law professor, Warren was elected to the U.S. Senate on Nov. 6, 2012, the first woman ever elected to the U.S. Senate from Massachusetts. Currently, she serves on several committees in the Senate, including the Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs; the Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions; and the Special Committee on Aging. She is also the author of several books, including A Fighting Chance, published in April 2014, a memoir of her life and struggles to succeed and her ongoing fight on behalf of the American middle class.

Also featured on the LATE SHOW Wednesday, Sept. 3 is an interview with actress Kristen Wiig, star of the upcoming film "The Skeleton Twins," and a performance by musical guests The New Pornographers.

The Late Show with David Letterman is a production of Worldwide Pants Incorporated. Barbara Gaines, Matt Roberts, Jude Brennan, Maria Pope, Eric Stangel, Justin Stangel and Rob Burnett are the executive producers. Jerry Foley is the director.
