A source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that recently-eliminated BACHELORETTE contestant Sean Lowe has been approached by ABC to be the next Bachelor. According to the source, the 28-year-old fitness instructor has expressed interest in the idea. “He’s interested, but not sure," says the source. "I wouldn’t be surprised if you see him on the show next season though.”

Lowe was eliminated by Bachelorette Emily Maynard in Curacao on the July 9th episode. He was one of three contestants remaining after the 'Hometown' episode the prior week. Former contestant Roberto Martinez is also said to be in the running for the next Bachelor.

Maynard and the final two bachelors, Jef and Arie, will continue their adventure on Curacao as Emily's journey to find love quickly comes to a close. Next Monday, The Bachelorette's Men Tell All will air at 8/7c on ABC.

Hosted by Chris Harrison, "The Bachelorette" is a production of Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television. Mike Fleiss and Martin Hilton are executive producers. "The Bachelorette" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with stereo sound. This program carries a TV-PG,L parental guideline.
