The Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts presents YouTube phenomenon Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox, Monday, November 13 at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale to theatre members Tuesday, July 25 at 10 a.m. and to the general public Friday, July 28 at 10 a.m.

Postmodern Jukebox has amassed more than 690 million YouTube views, performed on "Good Morning America," topped the charts and played hundreds of shows to packed-house crowds around the world. NPR described the group as "taking current Top 40 hits and re-imagining them as coming from older eras of popular music." In one such remake, Bradlee and Postmodern Jukebox turned Miley Cyrus' "We Can't Stop" into a doo-wop ditty video that garnered nearly 17 million views. Last year, they envisioned Radiohead's alt-rock hit "Creep" as a torch-lIke Ballad. That video was named one of the "9 Best Viral Cover Videos of 2015" by People magazine. Multi-Grammy winning artist Lorde praised Postmodern Jukebox's vintage take on her hit single, "Royals," as her "favorite."

Bradlee, the mastermind behind the group, turned Postmodern Jukebox into a juggernaut by building a grassroots movement around the act. He continues to pick the songs, create the arrangements and shows and put together the performers, which include some notable names alongside phenomenal, undiscovered talent. The group releases a new video every week, each one shot in the casual environment of Bradlee's living room where he can often be seen playing piano in the background.

Tickets to Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox start at $28.50. Discounts are available to members of The Hanover Theatre and groups of 10 or more. Tickets are available online at TheHanoverTheatre.org, by phone at 877.571.SHOW (7469) or at The Hanover Theatre box office located at 2 Southbridge Street in downtown Worcester.

The Hanover Theatre continues to draw over 197,000 patrons annually with world-class performances and headlining acts including Broadway hits ("Les Misérables," "Kinky Boots"), comedians (Dave Chappelle, Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld), musical acts (Neil Young, Aretha Franklin, John Legend, Tony Bennett) and everything in between ("A Christmas Carol," Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Alton Brown, Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson). POLLSTAR consistently ranks The Hanover Theatre as one of the Top Theatres in the World. After nine seasons, the award-winning, historic theatre continues to establish its place as a world-class performing arts venue, acting as a catalyst for the economic development of downtown Worcester. The Hanover Theatre's recently acquired 551 Main Street houses new function space, offices, rental space for a restaurant on the ground floor and The Hanover Theatre Conservatory for the Performing Arts on the lower level.

Worcester Center for Performing Arts, a registered not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, owns and operates The Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts and Conservatory. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
