Sarah Hughes, Johnny Weir et al to Appear on NBC Sports FASHION ON ICE, 11/13
Olympic gold medalist Sara Hughes, two-time Olympian Johnny Weir and current world champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White, headline Paul Mitchell's "Fashion on Ice" this Sunday at 4 p.m. ET, on NBC. This show is part of the Pandora NBC Skating Series, produced by Disson Skating in conjunction with NBC.
The show will be hosted by 1998 Olympic gold medalist Tara Lipinski and former Victoria's Secret model Karolina Kurkova, from the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
Hughes, Weir and current world champions Davis and White, the first U.S. dance team to win a world championship, will perform specially choreographed routines from a variety of songs, including live performances from 18-time Grammy Award winner Aretha Franklin. Betsey Johnson and Gilles Mendel, the designer of the J Mendel line, will design original costumes for the skaters to wear during the show.
