Hold your breath Marvel fans because there is some fun news coming your way. Legendary comic book writer and creator Stan Lee is continuing the tradition to cameo in Marvel films.

Lee recently stated that he would have a little part in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy, out August 1st. The news is surprising, as Lee had shot down rumors that he would be in film - mainly because he did not write the comic. Though he did help write one of the Guardians, Groot, in collaboration with Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers.

Per Variety, Lee was asked by a fan at Chicago expo c2e2 if the cameos would continue, to which Lee responded, ""I did, already. I can't tell you what it is, but I can tell you I do not understand what it was or why I did it. It has me with a girl - a very pretty girl - that's all I can tell you."

Lee can be seen in Iron Man, Spider-Man, and a slew of other Marvel franchises.

Guess we'll have to wait and see what the cameo entails...
