TVGuide reports that Johnny Lewis, star of the popular FX drama series SONS OF ANARCHY was found dead in the driveway of the L.A. home of an elderly woman who appears to be the victim of a homicide. The body of the unidentified woman was found inside the home. According to police reports, Lewis' death may have been caused by a fall, possibly from the stairway, balcony or roof of the home.

According to the report, Lewis is considered a suspect in the murder of the woman, who reportedly suffered "major trauma." LAPD Commander Andrew Smith told ABC News, "The best we're piecing together now is that it appears that some type of altercation occurred inside of the house resulting in the death of the woman. Then this individual ran outside, had an altercation with a couple of neighbors, ran back into the house and by the time we got here, he had fallen or had somehow died on the driveway."

It is not known what the relationship was between the actor and the elderly woman, although Smith revealed it is possible he was renting a room in her home.

Lewis portrayed 'Kip "Half-Sack" Epps on the FX series. The 27-year-old has also appeared on The O.C., Boston Public and The Runaways.
