Russell Brand to Be First Guest on OWN's 'The Rosie Show'

"The Rosie Show" announced today that comedian, actor and author Russell Brand will be the first guest to appear on its premiere show, Monday, Oct. 10 at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

Show host, Rosie O'Donnell, has admitted candidly in the past that she is "fascinated" by Russell --- calling him a "genius" --- and has spoken publicly about her wish to have him appear as the first guest on "The Rosie Show."

Russell Brand will be one of many notable celebrities scheduled to visit with Rosie during her show's first two weeks. Additional guests will be announced at a later date.

"The Rosie Show" will premiere Monday, October 10 at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT and will air weeknights Monday through Friday on OWN.
