RockHouse Motion's DR. BOOM Wins Sharp Electronics' 2013 'Art of Amazing 4K Film' Competition

"Dr. Boom" by RockHouse Motion is the winner of the "Art of Amazing 4K Film Competition" hosted by Sharp Electronics with two other expert voices in picture quality, THX and RED. "Dr. Boom" was selected from among a wide selection of entries as one of four finalists for demonstrating creativity, technicalskill and the ability to capture an amazing high-resolution entertainment experience through: "energy, light and scale." Fans had an opportunity to vote for a winner from among the finalists via Facebook voting. "Dr. Boom" captures a local story in the heart of Central Kansas, where every Independence Day, contractor Ryan Erickson transforms into a mad scientist of sorts. Through incredible imagery and human energy, the film displays Erickson's orchestra of fireworks and his community's enthusiasm for the summertime celebration and its symbolism.

RockHouse Motion will receive a Sharp 70" (69.5" diagonal) class AQUOS 4K Ultra HD LED TV and a trip to the 2014 International CES (January 7-10) in Las Vegas, where their film will gain additional exposure while playing in Sharp's CES booth.
