According to Digitalspy.com, actor and director Robert Redford and musician T Bone Burnett are set to launch Sundance London at The O2 this coming April. Redford hopes to share the excitement and success of his long running Sundance Film Festival in Utah with the United Kingdom. The festival is set to kick off on April 26, 2012 and will include some of the winning films from the January Sundance Film Festival in the US.

Redford and Burnett will open the festival with an event entitled, 'An Evening with Robert Redford and T Bone Burnett'. During the discussion, the two entertainers will reveal some of the most classical musical events in their lives as well as some of the most inspirational films they have seen. It will be moderated by best selling author Nick Hornby.

In commenting on his partner T Bone Burnett, Redford said, "His ability to deepen the experience of watching a film through the addition of music has seen him produce and curate some of cinema's most notable and commercially successful soundtracks."
