Richard Pryor Jr., actor, singer and offspring of one of Hollywood's most acclaimed talents returns to showbiz as a tribute to his late father the legendary King of comedy: Richard Pryor. Pryor Jr., recently wrapped on a slate of film projects which includes a web-series titled "Three Square," a self-produced and highly anticipated one man show titled "Stirred Crazy," and an independent film titled "College Debts" formerly "My Guaranteed Student Loan" in which he co-stars alongside academy award winner the late Celeste Holm.

Richard Pryor Jr., who is also a member of the famed Friars Club, is no stranger to showbiz. Mr. Pryor has appeared in films such as The Color Purple; when the role of the late Richard Pryor was to be filled for the blockbuster film American Gangster, Hollywood called on Richard Pryor Junior to portray his dad on the silver screen. "I was so thrilled and honored to play my dad that I immediately decided to continue his legacy. It all started when I was a kid growing up in the 70's and watching my dad perform in various Comedy Clubs. I remember watching him and saying to myself that one day, I want to do that. I want to entertain people just like dad. My dad would bring me along sometimes and have me introduce him to the audience during his standup routines. What a feeling that was back then," says Richard Pryor Jr. Pryor has recently completed several TV pilots "Lizards" and "Pryor Knowledge" starring as himself and directed by Dante Liberatore for BonaFide Films.

In addition to his comedic ability to move and entertain an audience, Pryor's voice has taken him to world famous stages including: The International Cringe Festival, The Metropolitan Room, Birdland New York, and The Jazz Celebration Series in New York City, Chicago, Indiana and Michigan. According to recent news, several TV producers and investors have taken an interest to invest in all things "Pryor." He is currently in collaboration with TV producer Joseph Savoy of NBC Local and ABC Live Well Network to produce and develop a TV series and benefit concert for local NYC charitable organizations related to arts and entertainment.

As the legacy continues, Pryor is also set to release a documentary film "Coming In My Own," and a tell-all-book about his life as the son of the late legendary comedic icon Richard Pryor. It sounds as though Pryor Jr., has his work cut out for him.

"I am ready for all there is to come. What can I say, It's just Pryor Knowledge." Richard Pryor Jr.
