Ratings for NBC's Broadcast of GOLDEN GLOBES Grow for 3rd Year in a Row

NBC's telecast of 75th Annual GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS hosted by Seth Meyers (13.4 rating, 21 share in households in the 56 markets metered by Nielsen Media Research) is up versus last year in metered-market households by +1% (13.4/21 vs. 13.3/21 on Jan. 8, 2017), by +3% versus two years ago (13.4/21 vs. 13.0/20 on Jan. 10, 2016) and by +6% versus three years ago (13.4/21 vs. 12.6/19 on Jan. 11, 2015).

This marks the third year in a row the Globes have grown in metered-market households (13.4 vs. a 13.3 in 2017, 13.1 in 2016 and 12.7 in 2015) and it is the only major award show to generate metered-market household increases each of the last three years.

This is the second-highest-rated Golden Globes in 11 years in the metered markets, ranking since 2007 (16.0) behind only the 14.1 in 2014. The numbers more than triple NBC's average in the time period last season excluding sports (13.4 vs. 3.7).

The telecast won the night in metered-market households, despite Fox's high-rated NFC Wild Card overrun.
