Ratings for Destination America Ties for Network's Best Week Ever

This past week (3/31/14 - 4/6/14), Destination America tied for its Best Week Ever in Prime among HH delivery (190k), driven especially by the weekend's performance (Friday-Sunday), filled with the frightening, season-two premiere of Mountain Monsters and the ingenious backyard duo in HILLBILLY BLOOD's season-three finale. Friday also marked the network's best Friday night ever in key demos among P/M25-54/18-49 for HH and P2+ delivery.
The season-three finale of Hillbilly Blood on Saturday, April 5 at 9/8c finished as the series' highest rated season yet. This season out-performed season two with double-digit increases among all key demos, highlighting +66% in P18-49, +59% M18-49, 75% W18-49, +30% HH, and +31% for P2+ among delivery. By creating "hillbilly vodka" from local potatoes and heaters out of cow pies, two of HILLBILLY BLOOD's episode premieres from the third season ranked as Destination America's top-10 telecasts ever among M25-54. The season-two premiere of Destination America's hit series Mountain Monsters produced stellar ratings for the network on Friday night at 10/9c, earning its best telecast ever among HH rating and delivery (0.81/473k) and second best among P2+ (672k) delivery. The premiere of Mountain Monsters beat out competitors including H2, TNT, MTV, Tru, NGC, TRV and CMT for delivery of M25-54 in its timeslot and outperformed Destination America's previous 6-week time period rating average by triple-digit increases in key demos: 243% in M18-49, 242% in M25-54, 226% in P2+, 224% in P18-49, 213% in HHs, and 185% in P25-54.
