RENT alum and Private Practice star Taye Diggs recently sat down with TV Guide to talk all things Sam, Addison & Naomi and whether or not he or his famous wife, Broadway vet Idina Menzel, have plans to grace the set of GLEE.

Says Diggs on a potential GLEE stint: "I don't if I could. I would love to, I love that show. I think there's a situation with the opposing networks, there's a conflict. I'm a huge fan, though. It would be great if I could."

In addition to Rent and Private Practice, Diggs is perhaps best known for his role in the motion picture How Stella Got Her Groove Back.  In early 2006, Diggs guest-starred for several episodes as Will Truman's love interest, James, on the final season of Will & Grace. Most recently he was seen alongside James McDaniel in Charles Fuller's A Soldier's Play at Second Stage Theatre in New York.

GLEE, the genre-defying new musical comedy series, follows an optimistic teacher who - against all odds and a malicious cheerleading coach - attempts to save McKinley High's Glee Club from obscurity while helping a group of aspiring underdogs realize their true star potential. Starring Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Jessalyn Gilsig, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Jenna Ushkowitz, GLEE is produced by Ryan Murphy Television in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan are co-creators of the series. Murphy, Falchuk and Dante di Loreto serve as executive producers, while Ian Brennan serves as co-executive producer.

The series airs on FOX at 9pm on Wednesdays.
