Photo: THE WIZ LIVE's Ne-Yo Shares First Photo of Newborn Son Prince SJ

As BWW reported earlier this week, Ne-Yo and his wife Crystal Renay Smith have welcomed their first child together, a son named Prince SJ. The couple tied the knot only three weeks ago.

Today, Ne-Yo turned to Instagram to reveal a first photo of the new arrival, (at left) captioning the pic: "Welcome to the world lil' man. (HA! Mason's a big brother now You got a BIG family lookin' out for you, immediate AND extended. And we all love you to death. Gonna do EVERYTHING in my power to make sure ALL my children never need for anything EVER. @iamcrystalrenay I love you lovely. Thank you for this amazing gift! "

Ne-Yo recently took on the iconic role of The Tin Man in NBC's THE WIZ LIVE. The R&B singer's first two albums, "In My Own Words" and "Because of You" each debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 Chart. He has written songs for such acclaimed and varied artists as Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Carrie Underwood, Anastacia and Ciara.

On the acting front, Ne-Yo has appeared on the TV series "CSI: NY" and "90210" as well as the films "Stomp the Yard" and "Red Tails."
