The CBS network jumped on the Hamilton bandwagon at their annual Upfront presentation yesterday, enlisting the aid of LATE LATE SHOW James Corden.
The parody followed Tuesday's ESPN upfront presentation which featured HAMILTON cast members Leslie Odom Jr. and Daveed Diggs (click here) and Monday's NBC upfront featuring TONIGHT SHOW host Jimmy Fallon rapping new lyrics to some of the hip-hop musical's most popular numbers (click here)
Yesterday, Corden led an ensemble of dancers in a high-energy rap featuring the lyrics: "Yes we want your Hamiltons/Your Benjamins and Washingtons" and "They believe in democracy/we believe in GRPs." The presentation was preceded by a pre-taped introduction video featuring none other than Lin-Manuel Miranda who joked of the CBS upfront event: "I hear its the second-toughest ticket in town."
