On Saturday, July 27th, the Television Academy's Costume Design & Supervision Peer Group honored the 65th Primetime Emmy Award Nominees for Outstanding Costumes with a special reception that also launched the FIDM Museum & Galleries seventh annual presentation of "The Outstanding Art of Television Costume Design" featuring over 120 costumes from over 15 featured shows. Among those in attendance included nominated Behind the Candelabra Costume Designer Ellen Mirojnick, along with the exhibit's featured Costume Designers from House of Cards, Rectify, SMASH and 2 Broke Girls plus special guests. 2013 Emmy Nominees for Outstanding Costumes: Ellen Mirojnick (Costume Designer, Behind The Candelabra). Plus featured Costume Designers and special guests: Ane Crabtree (Costume Designer, Rectify), Betsey Potter(Governor, Television Academy Costume Design & Supervision Peer Group), Joe Aulisi (Costume Designer,Smash), Mandi Line (Costume Designer, Pretty Little Liars), Mark Bridges (Costume Designer, The Artist), Nick Verreos (Fashion Designer/ FIDM fashion spokesperson), Tom Broecker (Costume Designer, House of Cards) andTrayce Gigi Field (Costume Designer, 2 Broke Girls).

For the seventh year, noted Costume Designer and President of the Costume Designers Guild, Mary Rose, returned as the guest curator and organizer of this year's exhibition. The exhibition celebrates television costume design and salutes the work of this year's Emmy nominated Costume Designers and Supervisors including: Behind the Candelabra, Downton Abbey and Game of Thrones. Also taking part in the exhibit are costumes from: 2 Broke Girls, The Americans, Girls, House of Cards, Mr. Selfridge, Nashville, Parks and Recreation, Rectify, Ring of Fire, Scandal, SMASH and Vegas.
