On Monday, May 9, Blake Shelton performed tracks from his newest album, If I'm Honest, along with many of his previous hit songs. The live performance included Shelton's new hit duet, "Go Ahead And Break My Heart," with special guest Gwen Stefani. He also performed his emotional ballad "Savior's Shadow," live on The Honda Stage at the iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles. The event included an intimate Q&A with host Bobby Bones discussing Shelton's new album, to be released on May 20. The event will broadcast on the iHeartMedia Country radio stations as well as iHeartRadio.com on Wednesday, May 18.
chose that title, Blake explained that he needed a title that would represent a timeline of those 12 or 13 months of his life. Gwen had named her album "This Is What the Truth Feels Like" and that really spoke to him.
· When asked how difficult it was to put his life on display, Blake joked that since everyone else is cashing in, he might as well get some too.
· For Blake's exhibit in the Country Hall of Fame, his manager asked him to come up with a few items to contribute and he was so upset that he could find the first guitar he ever bought (he joked that he may have given it away or used it for fire wood). He did however find a popcorn bucket full of things he kept from ages 19-20, including the notebook with the first song he ever wrote in it.
