TVLine reports that the HBO network has set a premiere date for the second season of its hit series GIRLS. The dramedy wil return on Sunday, January 13, at 9/8c on HBO. Broadway vet Patrick Wilson is set to guest star as 'Joshua', a doctor and next-door neighbor to Hannah's work—an almost-sure temptation for Lena Dunham's character, who is already confused about her current "boyfriend," played by Adam Driver.

In addition to Wilson, the upcoming season will see appearances by Colin Quinn (Saturday Night Live) and Rita Wilson (The Good Wife). The series received the 2012 Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting in a Comedy Series, and won four additional nominations, including Oustanding Comedy Series. The show stars Lena Dunham, Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke and ZOSIA MAMET.

Wilson last appeared on TV in CBS' medical drama A Gifted Man. His film credits include The Alamo, The Phantom of the Opera, Little Children, Watchmen, The A-Team, The Ledge, Insidious, Prometheus and more.

On stage, Wilson has appeared in Broadway's All My Sons, Barefoot in the Park, Something Good, Oklahoma!, Dreamgirls, The Full Monty and The Gershwins' Fascinating Rhythm. Off-Broadway he has taken the stage in Tenderloin, Bright Lights, Big City, and toured with the national cast of Carousel. Wilson has also appeared in a Minnesota production of Romeo and Juliet, as well as a New York production of Finian's Rinbow, a regional show Lucky in the Rain, and many more.
