Oxygen Appoints Shanon Smith as VP, Production and Operations

Oxygen Media has named Shanon Smith as Vice President, Production and Operations, it was announced today by David O'Connell, Executive Vice President, Production and Operations, Lifestyle Networks to whom she will report. Based in Los Angeles, Smith will manage the production of all original series and specials for Oxygen's slate of programing.

Smith was previously Executive Vice President of Production & Operations at Twofour America, where she oversaw production, finance and operations on multiple series featured on History, Discovery, ABC, Lifetime and more. Smith started at E! Entertainment as a line producer in 2005 before BECOMING the Director of Production Management for E! Entertainment International, G4 Network and Style Network, where she managed 30 shows including "American Ninja Warrior," "Dr. 90210" and E! NEWS in France, Italy and Asia. She then went on to OWN as the Executive Director of Production, where she oversaw all third party productions.
